Field Guide to Eucalypts, Volume 1

For me personally this book is five stars, but it is a field guide for botanists not gardeners unless they are prepared to spend a lot of time learning the terms of Eucalypt taxonomy. To me it fills out the gaps left by less complete books.

This is the standard Australian text on the identification of eucalypts in the field. The forward forewarns the reader that it is intended for "expert" users.

An excellent field guide, though, as so often with such books, I end up convincing myself that I have just come across a whole new species way too often.
